The MS&T Robotics Design Team has switched focus to underwater robotics! The competition we are preparing for is the MATE International ROV Competition. The MATE competition simulates problems and tasks that may take place in an international port city.

Divided into 4 divisions, the teams will build robots to navigate a 3 dimensional underwater space, while tethered to an external power source. Another large part of the competition is the presentation and report portion. This event causes the team to think like entrepreneurs, as they attempt to sell the judges on their product. The team is ecstatic to have the opportunity to take on these new challenges!
